Reactor Data Monthly Release Notes Digest: September 2025
Release Notes · Updated October 3, 2025
As summer comes to a close, the Reactor Data team continued its hard work, delivering several key updates and improvements to the platform in September. Here's a quick digest of what's new, sorted by UI page.
Sources
-
Data Preview Improvements: We fixed several bugs on the Data Preview tab to ensure a more accurate display of your data:
- Boolean fields are now displayed correctly.
- For sources containing a field called "id," the Id column now shows the actual record ID instead of a sequential value.
- Field names in the table header now reflect the original casing from the source data.
- A bug that prevented the Data Standard from exiting edit mode after a user deployed changes has been resolved.
- You can now use the standard "undo" command (Cmd+Z on Mac, Ctrl+Z on PC) to revert changes while editing Connector Settings.
- We fixed a caching issue that could cause Reactor to "miss" a new Identity Setup configuration deployment, which prevented reindex jobs from starting.
Source Links
The Source Links page has a more intuitive and consistent user experience. We've replaced the Save Changes button with an Edit button that toggles to Save & Deploy during edit mode. A new Cancel button is also available to discard any changes.
Mappings
- "Sync Schema" for Outputs: We've added a Sync Schema button to BigQuery and Snowflake outputs. This button allows you to easily update the output table schema in Reactor to match the destination table's schema.
-
Electron Enhancements: Electron is smarter and more stable than ever:
- Enhanced Mapping Capabilities: Electron can now use the Source Query Agent on the Mappings page to compare source schemas more effectively.
- Copy Mapping Agent: The Copy Mapping Agent can now copy configurations that output to another model, not just a destination target.
- Improved Stability: We resolved an issue where the page would refresh and discard unsaved changes when users minimized or maximized Electron conversations.
- Data Collector Service Integration: Electron can now retrieve source data statistics from the Data Collector Service via an API call, providing valuable information about data collection progress.
