August 25, 2025: Advanced Mapper Replay

Release Notes · Updated August 26, 2025

General Release

We are excited to announce the launch of Mapper Replay Advanced Mode, a powerful new feature designed to give you more granular control over your data reprocessing tasks. This enhancement is a significant step forward in helping you resolve mapping and loading errors more efficiently.

The Challenge with Standard Mapper Replays

Mapper Replay is a popular automation that retransforms all collected records in a given pipeline, ensuring you can reprocess your data as you update your pipelines to support new use cases. However, for troubleshooting specific issues, replaying an entire data source can be time-consuming and unnecessary.

The Solution: Advanced Mode

Mapper Replay Advanced Mode addresses this by allowing you to specify a list of IDs to replay, rather than being limited to replaying all records or records collected before/after a specific collection date. This is particularly useful for testing a mapping pipeline on a specific record before committing to a full data source replay.

How to Use Advanced Mode

  1. Access the menu: Simply select the Mapper Replay icon on the tile of the source you wish to replay.

  2. Select Advanced Mode: Choose 'Advanced Mode' to open the new menu.

  3. Enter IDs: Enter a comma-delimited list of the IDs you want to replay, then select the Remap button to kick off the replay for the specified records.

This new feature empowers you to quickly and accurately troubleshoot issues, test new mapping logic, and resolve errors with pinpoint precision. It's another way Reactor is helping you ensure your data is always ready for generative AI, analytics, and activation use cases.
