July 24, 2024: Enhanced Visibility of Linked Source Data in Reactor
Release Notes · Updated August 26, 2025
We've supercharged Reactor's Mapping UI! Now, you can view source records linked together directly within the interface, thanks to an enhancement of our powerful Source Links tool.
With this update, Reactor now proudly displays your linked source data records right in the Source Data panel on the left side of the Mapping Configuration Editor. We've added tabs to the Source Data panel, giving you a clear, organized view and boosting your confidence in your mapping configurations. You can now easily compare all your linked data inputs to the mapped output, which is displayed in the Mapping Results panel on the right side of the Mapping Configuration Editor.
What Are Source Links?
Just like a SQL Join, Source Links enable you to merge data from two or more sources into a single mapping output. For a complete guide, dive into our article: How to Link Your Data Sources.
How It Works
When a source record is linked to any records from other sources, Reactor will display those linked records in tabs above the Source data preview block—one tab for each data source.
- Simply click a source tab to reveal the linked source record.
- If a data source isn't linked to any other sources, the Source Data panel will contain a single tab, keeping things clean and simple.
By displaying linked source records, Reactor gives you a much clearer understanding of exactly which linked records will combine into one output in the mapping pipeline, all before they're exported to your data warehouse. This feature doesn't just make the data mapping process smoother; it also makes troubleshooting a breeze by letting you review all linked source records on one screen.
