Introduction

This document explains the purpose and functionality of the Data Monitor page within the Reactor Data platform. The Data Monitor provides users with a centralized view of their data source connections and their operational status.

Purpose of the Data Monitor

The Data Monitor page is a central hub for monitoring the status and activity of data source connections in Reactor Data. It provides key information about each connection, enabling users to track data refreshes, schedules, and overall connection health.

Key Information Displayed

The Data Monitor page displays the following information for each data source connection:

  • Connector: This column identifies the specific data source connector (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify).
  • Last Update: This column shows the date and time of the most recent data refresh for the connection.
  • Schedule: This column indicates the schedule that the connector follows for updating data (e.g., "Every hour," "Every 30 minutes," "At 12:00 AM on day 1 of the month").
  • Status: This column displays the current status of the connection (e.g., "Running," "Paused," "Waiting for first job").

Using the Data Monitor

By reviewing the information on the Data Monitor page, users can:

  • Track Data Refresh Activity: Monitor when data was last updated for each source.
  • Verify Connector Schedules: Confirm that connectors update data according to their configured schedules.
  • Identify Connection Issues: Quickly spot paused connections, failures, or other problems.
